Released sunny IV - Meeting of Paraíba Free Software
The Linux user group of Paraiba, G / LUG-PB Project and Free Software, PSL-CP, are proud to present the fourth edition of the sunny, Libre Software Meeting of Paraiba , one of the major Free Software events in Brazil. As in the previous edition, João Pessoa, capital of Paraiba, will host the meeting, which this year will be 6 to 9 May. The event's slogan goes, "Freedom in the Far", which agrees well with the city and even the venue, the Station Cape Blanco - Science, Culture and Art, which is situated a few minutes walk from Cabo Branco Lighthouse , the easternmost point of the Americas.

In 2010, the sunny IV promises to exceed all expectations left - rightly so - by the previous editions. For those who do not remember the sunny already brought major international figures as the Executive Director of Linux International, John "Maddog" Hall, and the creator of the Free Software Foundation (FSF) and the GNU project, Richard M. Stallman. For this edition are estimated no less than five international speakers, data that will be confirmed in coming weeks. And do not worry about language problems, because the sunny simultaneous translation will ensure the necessary lectures, thus reaching the entire audience of the event.
But of course we can not forget the national representatives. I have also gone through the sunny speakers the size of Anahuac de Paula Gil, Luis Felipe Costa, Corinto Meffe, Julio Neves, Sérgio Amadeu and many others who contributed to the sunny became a national reference when it comes to events of Information Technology and Software Free.
Lectures
As in previous editions different topics are covered in various lectures and workshops. The content has sunny and information for all sorts of people, whether you're a student, teacher or a professional in the field of Informatics. No wonder that this year the event will last four days, a substantial increase compared to the previous edition.
Local
White Cable Station - Science, Culture and Art was recently built and designed by the great architect Oscar Niemeyer. Its futuristic appearance and location made this splendid building quickly become one of the newest and most requested sights of João Pessoa. With a few minutes walk you will be at Cape Blanco Lighthouse, the easternmost point in March of the Americas, João Pessoa reason to be known as "the city where the sun rises first." Registration
Registrations are open on January 25, missing exactly 100 days to the beginning of this magnificent event, are available through the official website. By participating in the meeting you will receive a free T-shirt event, as well as a certificate of attendance and a Congressman Kit. The simultaneous translations required for international conferences are also already included in the package.
